When peace returned we resumed our specialist trade.
The company was then managed by Denis Suter, son of
George Suter who had joined in 1935 before serving in
the Army during the war. Under Denis Suter as well as
manufacturing our own equipment, we maintained and increased
links with overseas companies in order to supply customers
with the best machinery for every packaging application.
David Suter joined the Company in 1958, with his brother
Mark Suter starting at Andrew & Suter Limited in
1976. On retirement of their father, David became Chairman
and the two brothers diversified still further into
the corrugated board industry.
In September 1987 the company relocated to a one-acre
site at Alban Park, St. Albans, in Hertfordshire with
19,500 sq. ft of office, factory and warehousing space.
At this new location new equipment has been designed
and built for the corrugated trade thus expanding our
export potential.
Following the untimely death of David Suter in 1998,
Mark Suter became Chairman and Managing Director and
further changes have taken place culminating in the
design and manufacture of our latest machinery for the
corrugated market. These new developments coupled with
our expanding network of overseas agents ensures a bright
future for both domestic and export business.
